Participating Poets

Our poets come from various Canadian cities, touring the corners of the country with their poetry and spreading their arms wide enough to touch Canada, from coast to coast, with Spoken Word. From one event to the next, SPEAKout is always mesmerized by the level of talent, skill, and passion our poets have. By striving to continuously involve our artists in SPEAKout and its growth, we’re ‘freeing’ art by removing it from the realm of pure bystander ‘entertainment’ to entertainment ‘with a purpose’. SPEAKout aims to support local artists and encourage real talent by providing a platform from which they can gain access to a wider audience; fostering & cultivating the poetic tradition in Canada by providing exposure as well as financial support. SPEAKout gains a large percentage of its energy and success from the poets and their talent. We are proud to have such talent on board.
