A diasporic poet coming from a Pakistani and Canadian background, Arzoo wrote her first poem in response to an act of racism she experienced. She is a graduate from University of Toronto, and has her Honours BSc. in Biological Sciences. More poetry began to flow from Arzoo after September 11.
