Nyat Kidane, born and raised in Toronto, is an aspiring journalist with goals to touch the hearts of those around her. Spoken word is more than just an outlet but it is a way to touch people without having to be directly involved in someones life. Writing has been and continues to be the main focus of all her energy which in many ways has had a positive effect in her life. For Nyat, her passion for writing derives from her homeland Eritrea where she feels most peaceful and gives her the inspiration to continue to push forward. With dreams of someday writing a book, Nyat will continue to evolve and develop her writing in hopes of always staying true to her origins.
