An 18 year old from Mississauga, Rua was born in Khartoum, Sudan – immigrating to Canada at the age of three. Rua has loved expressing herself artistically since childhood. Maturing, she found herself drawn to the craftsmanship and power of words. Combining her newfound love for poetry with her passion for the dramatic arts, she began to perform poetry and it soon blossomed into spoken word. Since then, spoken word has become an outlet to express her passion for life.
