Even though Sara is still in the process of settling in Canada, she still makes time and puts effort to support and help the community in Mississauga and Toronto. Sara, originally from Syria, lived in 3 different regions, the Middle East, North America and South East Asia, learning about different customs and cultures. She’s taking advantage of what she learned to bridge the gap among these different cultures. Sara joined the SPEAKout team in the hopes of promoting positive expression that’ll make a difference. As a musician and creative person she knows the importance of expression that’ll help and spread understanding between different backgrounds. As John Lennon sang, “I hope someday you’ll join us and the world will live as one” and so she joined to spread coexistence.
